Location: Lower St Joe, Avery down

Weather: Mild and pleasant, with daytime temperatures averaging in the mid-70s Fahrenheit (mid-20s Celsius). The evenings are cool, making for comfortable fishing conditions throughout the day. However, it's advisable to check the local weather forecast before heading out, as weather patterns can change.

Water conditions: Clear, flows around 2,300 cfs

Fish species caught: Westslope Cutthroat

Fishing Techniques: Dry Fly, Hopper Dropper, Nymphing, Streamers

Hatches: Drakes, PMD's, Caddis, Yellow Sallies, Golden Stones

Fly Patterns: Chubbies, Yellow Sallies, Purple Haze, Rusty Spinners, Pat's Rubber Legs, Jig Perdigon, Jig Faucii, Sparkle Minnows, Sculpzillas

Fishing has been great up on the Joe, hopper dropper, nymphing and streamer fishing have been the most productive in the slower riffles, seams, and tailouts.

Hatches are in full swing but big fish aren't quite looking up yet! Should be getting there this weekend though, so get out and fish!!
