Itinerary - 4 or 5 Day Wallowa and Grande Ronde River Fishing Trip
Travel Day
Arrival in Enterprise, Oregon.
- If flying:
- 2:30 PM: Meet at hotel for departure.
- If driving:
- 6:00 PM: Meet at Terminal Gravity Brewery
- Pre-trip meeting over drinks and dinner at the brewery
- After dinner: Drive to The Ponderosa Motel
- Dry bags will be distributed at the hotel, these will need to be packed with personal items for the morning.
- Any last minute things can be picked up at Safeway in Enterprise.
Day 1
Launch Day.
- 7:00 AM: Coffee
- 7:15 AM: Leave the Hotel, approximate driving time 1:00 hour to boat ramp
- 8:30 AM: Eat breakfast at boat ramp
- 8:45 AM: Launch boats
- 12:00 PM: Lunch on the river
- 5:30 PM: Cocktails and appetizers at camp
- 6:00 PM: Dinner
Day 2 - 4
Amazing days of fishing on the river!
- 6:00 AM: Coffee
- 7:00 AM: Warm breakfast
- 7:30 AM: Pack-up personal gear/ help crew breaks down camp
- 9:00 AM: Launch boats
- Lunch on the river
- 5:00 PM: Arrive at camp
- 6:00 PM: Cocktails and appetizers
- 6:30 PM: Dinner
Final Day
Time to go back home.
- 6:00 AM: Coffee
- 6:30 AM: Warm Breakfast
- 7:00 AM: Pack up personal gear/help crew break down camp
- 9:00 AM: Launch boats
- Lunch on the river
- 2:00 to 2:30 PM: Arrive at Powwatka Bridge Take-Out
- Unload dry bags and put gear into personal rigs
Traveling Home
There is no service at the take-out so make sure to plan ahead if you are taking your own vehicle.
