Report:
This last weekend was great dry fly fishing on the St Joe. We found that mid day was prime time to fish March browns and stone fly patterns! Actively scouting for rising fish to target, and focusing on the slower currents.
If dry fly fishing slows down nymphing is a great option that will pick up fish. Try using stone fly patterns followed by worms or jig head nymphs. Don't rule out streamer fishing either! These fish are active and ready to eat.
Flows are on the rise, projected temperature for next weekend is pushing 80 so get out while you can. Come in the shop to get more tips and tricks and the essentials for a great day out fishing.
