12 June 2021 - St Joe River Fishing Report

Flows: 2870 cfs

Weather: Partly cloudy with a high of 74 F

Fishing:

The time has come, golden stones are out on the water! The whole river is now at a fishable flow, so now is the time to get out and get some flies wet.  Along with golden stones we are seeing green drakes, yellow sallies, and pmds. Throwing a big golden stone dry is a great option. Keep an eye out for fish rising to pmds. Nymphing has been productive with a stone and a bead head to follow. Streamer fishing has been excellent with flashy olive being a good color.

Hot Flies:

Sparkle minnow, pat's rubber leg, wire worm, chubby, skwala, purple haze, pmd, BWO, Sculpzilla, mini dungeon, prince nymph, tungsten bead heads.
