Report: This is one of our favorite times of year on the Joe. The days are still warm and comfortable, while the occasional fall rain helps bump the flows and freshen things up. We’ve been seeing a good variety of mayflies, some prolific ant activity, and even the first few October Caddis starting to show!
Mornings have been a little slower, but once things warm up in the late morning, the fishing has been turning on and staying consistent throughout the day. We expect solid fishing to continue through September as we settle into these cooler fall conditions.
